Erich González Triana
Artist

Abelardo Molina

City of Matanzas, Cuba 1978. He began his artistic career at the end of 2014. Self-taught, his interest for sculpture and painting bring him closer to the Cuban Association of Artisans Artists (ACAA), where he has participated in different provincial events, national and international, as well as in various courses, workshops and conferences taught by renowned artists and art specialists from various institutions. During this time he has experimented with metal, paint, ceramics and works installations, the last two being the ones that have had the most influence on its artistic endeavor, achieving a personal stamp.

In the genesis of his work, experimentation with atypical materials and irregular shapes give the tone with what is desired to achieve development, either on canvases, sculptures and installation works. It has a simple speech, without conceptual extravagances that justify it, supported almost always in the simplicity of the figurative and the use of textures to make a story, an environment. The dissimilar atmospheres fostered by the ready made and object painting assembly, it is useful for multiple symbolic and metaphorical connotations that expand their limits in terms of artistic contexts.

Visuality and message to daily reflections, especially representing being human in his natural essence, is the goal of his artistic creation. Which motivate them to promote and continue developing their work, more than anything to connect and sensitize the viewer with a foreign experience, or not, through visuality Of his work.
