In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Journalism Institute for Social Prevention and ArteLatAm, a New York City-based arts organization, presented a Major Art exhibition and networking event titled: “A Journey Through Perspective: Artists for Venezuelan Journalists”, to be held from September 19 – 22, 2018 at Saphira & Ventura Gallery, located on 4 West 43rd Street New York, NY 10036. This event is open to the public. At least 200 art supporters are estimated to attend the event, and amongst them, artists and art collectors, arts organizations and galleries, investors and the public at-large.
This exhibit showcased artworks from Art-Masters such as Carlos Cruz-Diez, Jesús Soto, Oswaldo Vigas, and Juvenal Ravelo. The event also included pieces from other acclaimed contemporary artists and provided the opportunity for young emerging Latin American artists to show their works as well.
